Women's Giving Circle of Harford County
One Legacy, Many Hands
The Women’s Giving Circle of Harford County is dedicated to engaging women of all generations in the power of community philanthropy.
Our contributions of time, talent and financial resources address the needs of women and families.
Through education and increased awareness of local needs, we make a difference in the lives of women and their families throughout Harford County.
Membership is open to any woman who desires to further the mission and goals of the Giving Circle through financial support.
Each member is required to make a minimum annual contribution of $550.00, of which $500 is used for grants and building an endowment, and $50 for administrative expenses.
Grants are awarded annually as recommended by our Grants Committee. All funds raised by the Women’s Giving Circle will stay in our county. The Giving Circle funds are held and managed by Community Foundation of Harford County (CFHC) as a group donor-advised fund. Gifts made to CFHC are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
