Active CFHC Funds
The Community Foundation of Harford County (CFHC) incorporated in November 2006 and received its Internal Revenue Service determination in December 2007. Gifts to CFHC are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. CFHC has active funds and welcomes you to join the list of donors below.
Sadie's Fund
Purpose: To benefit animal shelters caring for domestic and feral cats in Harford County, MD, promoting and extending the lives of cats cared for by the shelters.

Ann K. Gaumond Fund
Purpose: A donor advised fund to support the physical, social, and educational welfare of the children of Harford County.

William A. Humbert Memorial Scholarship
Purpose: Memorial Scholarship Fund for advanced instrumental music students who graduated from Harford County high schools or their equivalent

Maria Ortiz Scholarship Fund
Purpose: Memorial Scholarship Fund for nursing Scholarships
Donations of any size are being accepted.
Contributors: Donations have been given from donors throughout the United States in memory of Captain Maria Ines Ortiz, an Army nursed who volunteered to care for wounded soldiers and Iraq children. She was the first Army nurse killed in combat since the Vietnam War.
