The Community Foundation of Harford County (CFHC) incorporated in November 2006 and received its Internal Revenue Service determination in December 2007. Gifts to CFHC are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. CFHC has active funds and welcomes you to join the list of donors below.
Harford Community Fund
Purpose: An unrestricted fund to support local needs.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County Endowment Fund
Purpose: To support the mission and programs of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County.Donations of any size are being accepted.

Purpose: A donor advised fund to support the physical, social, and educational welfare of the children of harford County.

Purpose: To support organizations in Harford County serving people who are homeless.

Maria Ortiz Scholarship Fund
Purpose: Memorial Scholarship Fund for nursing Scholarships
Donations of any size are being accepted.
Contributors: Donations have been given from donors throughout the United States in memory of Captain Maria Ines Ortiz, an Army nursed who volunteered to care for wounded soldiers and Iraq children, and from the local chapter of Women In Defense. She was the first Army nurse killed in combat since the Vietnam War.
Sadie's Fund
Purpose: To benefit animal shelters caring for domestic and feral cats in Harford County, MD, promoting and extending the lives of cats cared for by the shelters.

Purpose: To pay for respite care and other support for those who are providing hands-on in-home care to a family member.
