Volunteer Maryland places AmeriCorps members in nonprofit organizations, schools, and government agencies throughout the state to serve as Volunteer Maryland Coordinators.  The first step is to establish partnerships with organizations that can benefit from mobilizing volunteers.  Together, Volunteer Maryland and the partner organizations then work to recruit, train, and supervise AmeriCorps members to serve as Volunteer Maryland Coordinators.

For more information go to our website and plan to join us for an online presentation on January 19, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for an interactive webinar looking at how Volunteer Maryland can become a partner in your volunteer program efforts.  To register for this webinar, please use this link -
